The Daily OM

There is really no discernible difference between being and expression of being.  Being itself is a creative process, which alternates between rest and work and play.

The notion of “manifestation” is duality.  It’s the idea that God reveals to “?”  But if God is the only reality, as we say, who or what is on the receiving end of manifestation?

Or more to the point, what is this “witness” in some versions of nonduality?  The “one” that sees all that is not itself, all that is “manifest.”

There is no manifestation as a separate function in reality.  All is the unmanifest which pours into its own consciousness of its own consciousness.  Nothing separate which “witnesses” this.

Yet how this works defeats the binary nature of our logic.

So while all is the Unmanifest (Nirguna Brahman) all is equally the Manifest (Saguna Brahman).

There is no God and there is nothing but God.  I am God and there is no “me” but vast emptiness with no boundaries or distinguishing marks.  Nothing to say and nothing not to say.

OM.
